Huntingdale Golf Club
Located in Oakleigh South, just a quick 30-minute drive from Melbourne’s city centre, Huntingdale Golf Club is one of Victoria’s most celebrated championship courses and a proud part of the famous Melbourne Sandbelt.
Having hosted the prestigious Australian Masters for many years, Huntingdale has earned its place in Australian golf history.
Since stepping onto the world stage in 1979, Huntingdale has welcomed some of the game’s greatest names like Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman, and Tiger Woods. Designed by acclaimed English architect C.H. Alison, it remains the only example of his work in Australia. The course is renowned for its pristine fairways, bold bunkering, and fast, true greens, which are kept in “Masters” condition year-round.
The course offers an exciting challenge for golfers of all levels, with a closing stretch of holes that’s widely regarded as one of the finest finishing sequences in the world. But it’s not just about the golf – the club’s rich heritage and warm hospitality ensure every visit is memorable as the game itself.
Huntingdale Golf Club offers a truly Australian golf experience, where a world-class course meets the natural beauty of the Sandbelt. N.B. this course is closed for major redevelopment until late 2025
