Kimberley Cultural Adventures
Founded and run by proud Nyul Nyul man Robert Dann, Kimberley Cultural Adventures offers immersive Aboriginal cultural tours in and around Broome (Rubibi), Western Australia.
Robert shares his deep connection to Country through storytelling, song, and hands-on experiences that reveal the rich cultural heritage of the Kimberley region.
Robert’s tours dive deep into the area’s pearling history, mission days, and sacred sites, offering exclusive access to culturally and historically significant places. As you walk forgotten roads and visit historic landmarks, you’ll hear stories that bring this land to life.
During the tours, you’ll enjoy bush tucker tastings, learn about traditional medicinal plants, and experience a private didgeridoo performance. You’ll also have the chance to handle authentic Nyul Nyul artefacts. A standout is the Beagle Bay Cultural Tour – a five-hour journey from Broome to the remote Aboriginal community of Beagle Bay. There, you’ll visit the iconic Sacred Heart Church, known as the ‘Mother of Pearl Church,’ and hear the community’s mission-era history shared through Aboriginal eyes.
With every step, Robert invites you to see the Kimberley not just as a destination, but as a living cultural landscape, alive with stories, spirit, and connection.
