With the floating lodge as your base, these small-group adventures explore the wild beauty of the island’s southwest and east coasts.

Departing from Hobart, you’ll take a scenic seaplane flight into the heart of Southwest National Park, landing on the tannin-stained waters of Bathurst Harbour. Each day unfolds with a new adventure, determined by the tide, time and weather – from guided walks through ancient rainforests and buttongrass plains to boat excursions across mirror-like harbours and kelp-lined sea caves. You’ll have plenty of chances to spot unique bird species like the orange-bellied parrot and hear rich cultural stories while exploring significant Aboriginal heritage sites.
